So THAT'S Fun?

So often on this trip, I've tried to anticipate what the kids will enjoy.  I know they won't always enjoy the things I like, but I'm pretty good at finding things that are a nice compromise of things I want to do and they'll tolerate.  Sometimes, though, they surprise me.

While waiting for the tourist bus in Edinburgh, they discovered this bus stop's two steps.  They played on them, happily, for 10 minutes.  Uh, okay, I guess I see how that can be fun.  Maybe?

Day 2: Same bus stop, different clothes.  They still loved it.

I figured they'd like the kids channel on the tour buses.  "Horrible histories" was a bigger hit than I thought it'd be.

We went back the second day and took the whole tour again so they could hear the funny stories.

At the children's museum, they loved this car parking structure toy--even though it was what you see here and two plastic cars.  That's it.  Uh, okay (again).
