Ah, technology!
I just spent 45 minutes typing an entry and deleted it all with one master keystroke. I hit Backspace--the button directly effing below Delete to get rid of a superfluous picture I'd added.
Instead of deleting the picture, I went back the previous (ie. login) page on my browser. The blogspot site doesn't save drafts, apparently, so I lost the entire page.
Oh well.
Thomas Carlyle wrote his opus The French Revolution and loaned it to John Stuart Mill for a look-see. Stuart Mill's maid mistook it for trash and threw the only draft copy onto the fire. Carlyle duly rewrote it, after a few choice curse words and a night of heavy drinking I suspect.
I'm trying to swear less and have never been much of a drinker, so I'll just get to retyping while the kids are asleep.
